XIII- Fees to be collected from the licenses of the mooring register and their visas: (Section added with Article 4 of Law No. 5897. Effective: 27.01.2017) 10/8/ From the licenses to be given to ships, marine and inland watercraft registered in the mooring logs created in accordance with the provisions of the Decree on the Establishment and Duties of the Undersecretariat of Maritime Affairs No. 491 dated 1993 (according to the size of the ship, sea and inland watercraft):

Values less than one meter are not taken into account in determining the length of the vehicle. Licenses to be obtained and visa procedures for ships, sea and inland water vehicles used exclusively in maritime transportation and fishing activities are exempt from the fees in this section. Mooring Billet Fee is charged according to the length of the boats as a fee for the renewal of the Billet License. However, the Document Fee is not charged for the renewal of the Mooring Log License due to reasons such as Sales, Changes in Boat Information. Mooring Billet Mortar is charged according to the length of the boats.
ISSUES TO BE CONSIDERED IN PRIVATE BOATS
Motor Vehicles Tax paid for Private Yachts with Turkish Flag has been abolished as of July-2009 and instead, fees are charged according to Boat Length under the name of “Mooring Log Fee”. It is obligatory to obtain Mooring Log License for Private Yachts. licenses are required to obtain a visa.
Since Port Registration is obligatory for yachts sailing only with a Municipal License, these yachts must be registered at the port and complete their sailing equipment and obtain a Mooring Billet license. (The section added with Article 4 of the Law No. 5897. Effective: 30/06/2009)
